On Saturday I did a post about ONE of my great thrifty finds while out and about on our garage/yard sale excursion and tonight I thought I would post a few more.
{First} This beautiful wooden shelf that actually is made to hang on the wall. Not really vintage so to speak but definitely old school. I *LOVE* items like this so of course I had to have it! Ready for the cost?? ............... can you believe $5?
{Second} This was a close HOT runner up to my awesome thermos lunch box, not sure which I like better really. But guess it doesn't matter since I ended up with them both. I have several old vintage cameras displayed in my scrapbook room and thought this sweet old vintage type writer would fit right in!!! $2 bucks, thank you very much ; }
We bought a lot of other things, silk plants, 2 white cabinets and 3 white shelves for my scrap room. 2 very pretty framed pictures.
Didn't pick up the following this past weekend but throughout the years of my vintage hunting.
I've had this Singer sewing machine for many years now and it has even taken some abuse from my ole' rottie "Sparticus' whom is no longer on this earth with us. It serves a great purpose as a stand for my finches.
Next is this pretty oak dry sink that I had picked up many,many years ago and used as my coffee bar in my salon. Now it serves as our alter.
Last but not least as promised here is the real steal of all . . . my vintage dining room table built in the late 1800's early 1900's purchased at Goodwill for $30!
really should vacuum before taking pictures, LOL! And to think that my new house cleaner was just here......
Below are some shots taken of the underside of the table....
Hope you all enjoyed ; }
